Edmunds.com recently released their list of 2012 Best Retianed Value Award winners.  in the Sedans Over $40K category, the Cadillac CTS was the winner, beating out cars from BMW and Mercedes-Benz, among others.  Edmunds.com looked at how much value each vehicle maintained after five years of ownership.  They found that the Cadillac CTS Sport Sedan maintained around 42% of its original value once it hit the five year mark.

The CTS’ Best Retained Value Award is the most recent accolade for Cadillac, which has been working to improve all aspects of production and service.  J.D. Power and Associates recently named Cadillac the most improved among luxury brands when it came to providing excellent customer experience

Gary Carter, General Sales Manager for one Cadillac dealership, told media, “A luxury car is a big purchase, so it’s good to know you’ll get more back when you buy a Cadillac.  The Sedan Over $40K category was full of vehicles from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, but it was the Cadillac CTS Sport Sedan that came out on top.
