The Cadillac Escalade has long been the best in domestic luxury SUVs. It’s capable of things at a higher level than other luxury SUVs, like the fact that it can tow more than the Range Rover, GL-Class and LX 570. The new Cadillac Escalade platform will be the same as the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, proving that this luxury SUV will have the same capabilities as a full-size pickup.
From pictures the automotive media were able to catch while the redesigned Escalade was out for a test run, a very large and aggressive front fascia, similar to the new XTS and ATS, will grace the front. A rope of LED lighting will span the vertical length of each side of the vehicle, beginning at the top of the headlamps and running all the way down to the lower bumper.
Though Cadillac hasn’t talked about engine specifics or a release date, we know we can expect the vehicles sometime in 2014 and that an optional turbocharged V6 will be available instead of the standard V8.
