Every year, during the North American Auto Show in Detroit, everyone waits to see who earns the highly-coveted North American Car of the Year Award. This award is considered the most important each year and sets the tone for sales for that year. This year, the 2013 Cadillac ATS was named 2013 North American Car of the Year during the Detroit Auto Show.

Finalists for this award included the 2013 Ford Fusion and 2013 Honda Accord, both of which the ATS was deemed superior. All vehicles were judged upon performance, value, fuel-efficiency, technology, safety, interior and exterior design, comfort, drivability and impact on the auto industry. As the 2013 ATS is a brand-new vehicle from a prestigious automaker, this revolutionary vehicle deserved to win.

When driving down the highways in the Tacoma or Seattle areas, the new Cadillac ATS has 33 MPG capabilities. It is powered by a 2.5-liter I4 providing 202 horsepower and 191 lb ft of torque.
