With each passing year, people throughout the world are demanding better and faster technology.  Cadillac is answering this demand with the most recent update to their advanced infotainment system, featured in their new Cadillac in Tacoma.  This system, known as the Cadillac User Experience, or CUE, will soon have updates for the 2013 Cadillac ATS, XTS and SRX models

“We’re hearing about our haptics and the desire for quicker responses,” Jeff Massimilla, designer manager for CUE, said in an interview with Wired magazine. “And we’re making a modification that will be released sometime later this year.”

When the update is ready, it will easily be upgraded into any existing CUE systems.  Cadillac is giving into dealership’s hands, meaning all Cadillac owners will have to do is drive their Cadillac to their dealership and have it upgraded for them.  Upgrades will most likely consist of pure software updates, but if any hardware is upgraded or replaced, it will be easy for dealerships to get done in a short amount of time.
